This is a required plugin only if you do not want ‘immediate’ tweets. This plugin will send a tweet once on the first visit to the site for postings that have not ‘tweeted’ on or after their posting date.

(Immediate tweets occur when the posting is saved in a published state and has never been tweeted regardless of the posting date).
