What are our customers saying about us?
I just set up a clients website using JobGrok! Not only was the installation simple but training the users was straight forward.
I would also like to thank the guys at jobgrok.com for their prompt support requests. So, Thanks. natebald
I chose this extension for a major client project when it was still in beta because I tested it and felt it would be a good fit. Within a week or so it was out of beta. I installed Version 1 and my client really took to it. I sent Tri State a few emails with questions and they responded right away. I soon upgraded to the premium version. I found a couple of bugs and reported them. Tri State addressed the bugs THE SAME DAY (yes you read that right). I can't say enough good things about Tri State's responsiveness and dedication to the success of this product. Even though it is already ready for prime time, I am confident it will continue to mature because of the developer's commitment. I only wish all Joomla developers were this committed. BRAVO Tri State. We love ya! Your software is worth every penny. Mark Johnston
It is rare today to find a vendor that when you have an issue with their product or service, that they understand that the success of their business relies on the success of each and every transaction. Such has been my experience with JobGrok. When I was having problems with their site and getting the information I needed, within an hour of sending them an email with the problem, they responded, wanted to know what happened and most importantly, wanted to know where the process of me having a positive experience with their website appeared to go wrong. This was a staircase of steps above the status quo in customer relations. It is obvious they wanted to not only solve a problem, but they also wanted to know how they could fix and IMPROVE ON a problem that could be hindering others as well. I strongly encourage others to consider this vendor in your choice-making.

I needed a simple employment listing that would display jobs on an organisation website - and the free JobGrok listing did the job perfectly. The jobs look nice on the site and the additional module allows me to display current positions on pages other than "Current Vacancies". The only thing I had trouble with was with my choice of WYSIWYG editor - the window isn't big enough to fit all of my choice of editor in making it a little difficult to edit jobs. Overall, a simple and elegant solution to a common requirement in many websites. Well done.

The extension installed very smoothly - without a single glitch. Although I never read the manual, the extension is designed in such an intuitive way that all you need is common sense to guide yourself around its pages. As for its functionality, it is very rich in features and even rivals some of the prominent job board out there. The only improvement I would make is dynamic, ajax-based field generation (rather than having Employer 1, Employer2 etc.). Great job!

One of the advantages of Joomla! is the sheer number of extensions that are available to extend the base installation. If you are looking to include a method for add job recruitment I would recommend that you take a look at JobGrok. The authors have a good understanding of the open source model of software development offering both a free and a commercial version, and offer support for both. Beyond just the OS Model, JobGrok has easy to understand code, well commented and easy to follow along. No obfuscation or complex objects with hidden trails to find. Modifications are relatively easy if you read the notations. Just what good OS code should be. On the implementation side, it is easy to install, and easy for end-user admins to manage once it is up and running. This is key since most "managers" of this type of package will be from Human Resource departments, while installers and code maintenance will be done by IT staff. While ready for prime-time, the developers seem to also understand that, like most Open Source projects, it is growing and evolving. My experience with the support staff has been positive when suggesting areas of improvement and possible additions to the package. I do not have enough time using JobGrok yet to give any feedback on how/when those suggestions get implemented, but they have been very receptive to ideas. Our company is moving ahead with using JobGrok, and I have to at least recommend giving it a serious try. I was able to give a working demo to our HR department with just a few hours of installation and population of the multitude of options available. This extension definitely deserves two thumbs up. I look forward to seeing this project grow even further.
